The deputy commissioner emphasized incorporating the needs of women, children, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and other passengers into the design to make the facility more accessible and convenient. He called for consultation with transporters, bus owners, drivers, passengers, and stakeholders to incorporate operational problems, practical requirements, and suggestions into a comprehensive plan.
He further directed officials to improve traffic management, parking arrangements, pedestrian movement, passenger information services, and sanitation alongside beautification works, stating these measures are essential for lasting benefits to the public.
Officials were directed to prepare priorities, cost estimates, designs, and implementation timelines for different components of the project to ensure further progress.
