Gold Holds Steady On Friday

Gold held steady on Friday and is poised for a small weekly gain, as market attention shifts to highly anticipated US payrolls data for clues regarding the Federal Reserve's next interest rate decision.
Spot gold maintained its position at $4,477.10 per ounce, as of 02:11 GMT. US gold futures for December delivery dipped by 0.4 percent to $4,522.60.
Among other metals:
- Silver spot price fell by 0.3 percent to $66.78 per ounce, but is set to end the week higher.
- Platinum declined by 0.8 percent to $1,811.28.
- Palladium dropped by 0.4 percent to $1,415.75, with both metals tracking slight weekly declines.
