Gold Prices Edge Higher On Monday

Gold prices edged higher on Monday, with spot gold gaining 0.4 percent to US$4,158.17 per ounce as of 01:50 GMT. US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.6 percent to $4,186.40.
Among other metals:
- Silver gained 1.7 percent to $61.40 per ounce.
- Platinum was up 0.6 percent to $1,708.48.
- Palladium firmed 0.6 percent to $1,175.04.
