Gold Prices Rise by Rs5,700 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) The prices of gold witnessed a sharp increase in the local market on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs5,700 to settle at Rs482,936, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,972 to Rs414,039, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs4,558 to Rs379,549. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $57 to $4,604 per ounce, the association reported.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs7,379, while the price of 10 grams of silver also remained stagnant at Rs6,326. The price of silver in the international market stood unchanged at $69.00 per ounce, the association added.
