The government sought assurances from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that they would not march on Islamabad again, while discussing the possibility of emergency rule or governor’s rule; PTI demanded access to Imran Khan, according to senior journalist Ghareeda Farooqi's report.

During the third round of talks, Mohsin Naqvi presented a charge sheet against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government over its handling of terrorism and governance. The federal government reportedly demanded an end to the long march and a firm commitment from PTI not to march on Islamabad again.

PTI will respond by tomorrow regarding their decision to end the march. The government sources claim this is the current status, though Ghareeda Farooqi analyses that it will be challenging for talks to succeed or for PTI to surrender without conditions.

The future of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hangs in the balance, with PTI having to decide whether to accept the government's terms and align with state policies or maintain their march. Talks have been postponed until 2 p.m. tomorrow.
