Governor Expresses Grief Over Injury Of Police Personnel In Mohmand Attack
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday condemned the hand grenade attack on Dub Chowk Police Post in Ambar tehsil of Mohmand district, expressing grief over the injuries sustained by five police personnel.
The Governor prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured policemen and lauded their bravery and courage in confronting the attack. He stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police had made immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism and its personnel were dedicated to protecting people’s lives and property, unwilling to compromise on their own safety.
Governor Kundi asserted that such cowardly attacks could not weaken the morale of the police and security forces, adding that their resolve to eliminate terrorism would remain steadfast.
