Govt, Private Schools Security To Be Monitored Through Geo-tagging
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) A modern digital system has been introduced to monitor the security of government and private educational institutions across Punjab, under which the security situation of schools will be continuously monitored through geo-tagging.
For this purpose, the Educational Institute Security Status App and web portal have been implemented in educational institutions. All government and private educational institutions will have to access the security app platform through their official login.
Under the new system, every educational institution will be required to enter all the required information and details related to security on the web portal. The concerned institutions have been directed to ensure that the information provided is complete, accurate and up-to-date, while necessary updates are also made regularly.
The security situation of educational institutions will be continuously monitored through the digital security system, which will help the concerned authorities in effective monitoring of security arrangements and administrative measures. According to the authorities, the system based on geo-tagging and online portal will help in making the security arrangements of educational institutions more organized, effective and monitorable.
