HESCO Faces 40MW Shortfall, Additional Load Shedding At 14 Grid Stations
Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) is facing an additional shortfall of 40 megawatts due to overloading of the 500kV Jamshoro Power Auto Transformer, resulting in two additional hours of load shedding at 14 grid stations under load management.
According to HESCO spokesman Saadiq Kubbar, forced load management of 40MW was being carried out on the directions of the RCC Jamshoro. This affects 14 grid stations, including:
- 132kV Bypass Hyderabad
- Gulshan-e-Shahbaz
- Kotri SITE
- Nooriabad
- Kalo Khoohar
- Thana Bula Khan
- Jhimpir
- Jhirk
- Thatta
- Mirpur Sakro
- Sujjawal
- Ladion
The spokesman apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and assured that power supply would be restored to normal at the earliest.
