Hospitals & Drinking Water Crisis, Millions Of Children Out Of School: Aleem Khan

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Sep, 2026) President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan on Sunday said that people were still being deprived of basic necessities of life and no one who genuinely loved the country could be satisfied with the system.

In a message posted on X, he stated that the country faced a serious shortage of clean drinking water, while the condition of hospitals had deteriorated significantly, and millions of children remained out of school.

Khan questioned, “If the provinces were delivering effectively under the existing system, why would the people be in such a condition?” He emphasized the need to remove the lens of prejudice and examine the actual situation of the people, as the reality is that the public is frustrated and deprived of basic amenities.

He further asked, how long the common people would continue to be placated with slogans and be forced to travel hundreds of miles to have their problems addressed. According to him, the time has come to ensure that basic facilities are provided to people at their doorsteps, which requires the creation of new administrative units and a restructuring of the existing system.
