PTI leader Junaid Akbar Khan stated that he does not consider Mohsin Naqvi part of the civilian government and believes him to be more powerful than the prime minister. He likened Naqvi to an "idol of Somnath" sitting in Islamabad.
Khan expressed his belief that the government should prove through its actions its readiness for dialogue. He emphasized the importance of political dialogue, stating that they welcome any extension of hand from Mian Shehbaz Sharif but highlighted subsequent FIRs registered against them.
He further claimed that 80% of the people support Imran Khan and are dissatisfied with the institutions' treatment of him. According to Khan, Mohsin Naqvi isn't part of the civilian government and wields more influence than the prime minister, emphasizing Naqvi's ability to make the government agree to demands.
Regarding Imran Khan's hospitalization at Shifa Hospital, Khan stated that Mohsin Naqvi maintained neutrality while learning that Mian Sahib and Maryam Nawaz had objected to Khan's admission. He expressed a willingness to face consequences, questioning if enduring hardship for Imran Khan would enhance or diminish their honor.
