A leader of the Tahafuz-e-Aain Movement stated that Imran Khan's meeting and medical treatment were directly tied to the approval of operations in five districts. Mohsin Naqvi explicitly confirmed this interconnection.
Pakistan: A Complex Scenario
Mohammad Zubair Umar, economic spokesperson for Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aain, expressed his concerns:
"I do not want to spread despair, but the situation is very bad."
He revealed that after two days of talks, participants returned with specific messages. While in Karachi, he maintained contact with them, particularly with Allama Sahib, whom he described as a dedicated individual focused on politics rather than power.
Unresolved Issues
Zubair Umar raised questions regarding the treatment of Imran Khan:
- The Supreme Court's decision in mid-August allowed medical facilities, communication with children, and inclusion of his doctor in the medical board, but these provisions were not implemented.
- Khan was denied permission to speak with his children for nearly one and a half months.
Government Response and Protests
Under pressure from workers, Sohail Afridi called for a protest. The government responded by engaging and providing assurances. During a talk show, Zubair Umar learned that Mohsin Naqvi had linked Khan's meeting, medical treatment, and operational approvals in five districts.
