ICT Police Sweep Five Islamabad Areas in Grand Search Operations, Check 101 People, 75 Motorcycles - UrduPoint
ISLAMABAD (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police conducted grand combing and search operations in five areas of the Federal capital, checking 101 people, 67 houses, and dozens of vehicles as part of enhanced security measures.
An official told APP on Thursday that the operations were carried out on the directions of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad within the jurisdictions of Ramna, Koral, Nilore, Tarnol, and Bani Gala police stations.
During the operations, police teams:
- Checked 101 people
- Inspected 67 houses, including 7 shops.
- Scrutinized 75 motorcycles and 17 vehicles.
- Shifted 12 motorcycles to respective police stations for further verification.
