They are pleading for face-saving and are highly likely to postpone the long march; if it does not take place, Imran Khan will not spare them and they will have to resign, says the PTI lawmaker.

Sher Afzal Khan Marwat stated that if no preparation had been made for the Sept 27 long march, how could they prepare in just four or five days for Oct 4? He mentioned they were asking for face-saving and were likely to postpone the march.
He pointed out that Sohail Afridi, who had not prepared for the Sept 27 march, could not make adequate arrangements for October 4. Marwat questioned what kind of preparation could be done in such a short time frame.
According to Marwat, if they decided to postpone the march after seeking face-saving, Imran Khan would not let them off the hook if the march did not materialize. He believed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would be introduced if he remained resolute. Imran Khan's decision regarding Afridi would necessitate his resignation.
Marwat explained that had Sohail Afridi put in genuine effort and gathered 200,000 people, governor's rule could have been imposed under Article 232; however, the federal government would later lift it per Article 236.
