IHC Summons FIA Officer Over Offloading of Passenger Bound for Malaysia
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday summoned the relevant Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officer in connection with the offloading of a citizen who was travelling to Malaysia.
Justice Aijaz Ishaq Khan issued a written order on a petition filed by citizen Muhammad Saad. According to the order, the petitioner contended that he possessed a valid Malaysian visa and a return ticket, while his counsel submitted that he had been offloaded despite having completed all necessary documents for travelling abroad.
The IHC directed the FIA to submit paragraph-wise comments before the next hearing. The court also ordered that the officer or shift in-charge who had written and issued the order to offload the citizen on August 12 appear before the court on Friday.
