Illegal Fertilizer Manufacturing Factory Sealed

The district administration has intensified its crackdown on illegal fertilizer mafia, sealing a factory in Shujabad after the discovery of an alleged illegal fertilizer manufacturing operation.
Assistant Commissioner Shujabad Dr Sana Ram Chand conducted a surprise raid on Wahab Cotton Factory, where authorities found that fertilizer was allegedly being produced without legal authorization. During the operation, the administration seized all material being used in the preparation of the illegal fertilizer and sealed the factory on the spot. Legal proceedings have also been initiated against the factory management, while a case has been registered over the alleged illegal activity.
Deputy Commissioner Dr Faisal Saleem said the production and sale of substandard and illegal fertilizer would not be tolerated under any circumstances, adding that protecting the interests of farmers remained a top priority of the district administration.
Assistant Commissioner Dr Sana Ram Chand said indiscriminate action against those involved in the illegal fertilizer business would continue. The crackdown is part of the district administration's wider efforts to curb the manufacture and distribution of substandard agricultural inputs and protect farmers from fraudulent practices.
