Illegal Slaughterhouse Uncovered Inside House In Chakwal

The Punjab food Authority (PFA) Rawalpindi Division, acting on a complaint, raided a house in Main Bazaar, Chakwal, and uncovered an illegal slaughterhouse operating inside the residential premises.
According to a PFA spokesperson, illegal slaughtering was underway at the site, where meat was being prepared under highly unhygienic conditions. The illegal slaughterhouse had been set up secretly inside the residential house, where necessary arrangements for cleanliness and hygienic slaughtering were also not being observed.
The PFA team lodged a report against the illegal slaughterhouse with the relevant police station, following which a case was registered.
The spokesperson said that a strict crackdown against illegal slaughterhouses was continuing across the province to ensure the provision of safe and quality meat to citizens.
