Chief Minister Sohail Afridi warned that any attempted adventure would face a strong response, leaving its perpetrators "never able to raise their heads again." He accused Pakistan's national media of supporting a "dirty game."

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi alleged that an imposed setup in Pakistan is aiming to cause a major tragedy in the province, specifically mentioning concerns over the role of the national media.

He raised questions about efforts to weaken the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police, suggesting they could invite a tragedy similar to the Army Public School (APS) incident. Afridi inquired if a new tragedy was being planned to protect a "fake government," and if the province was once again being targeted for bloodshed.

The CM noted the provincial police and CTD are well-equipped and capable. He accused the federal institution HIT of deliberately delaying weapon supplies despite payments from the provincial government. He emphasized that the weapons were purchased, not free, and remaining equipment remains unpaid for.

Afridi claimed the group in power through "illegitimate means" seeks to spread destruction in the country. He declared:

"Pakistan is ours. Pakistanis are ours. If any attempt is made to undertake any kind of adventure, we will respond in accordance with the Constitution and law in a manner that will prevent you from raising your heads for the rest of your lives."

Addressing a meeting on law and order, he acknowledged the sacrifices made by the people, police, and army of KP for peace, citing over 80,000 lives lost from the province for Pakistan. He lamented that peace, achieved through two decades of sacrifices, was again at risk due to unrest following the regime change operation.

The CM noted repeated warnings from the provincial government about militant movements and resettlement, but federal ministers dismissed them as propaganda. He emphasized the wrong policies of the state and federal government, claiming they would lead to more Pashtun bloodshed.
