Imran Khan’s Sisters Detained as Trusted Source, Claims Ahad Khan
Ahad Khan, brother-in-law of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has alleged that Imran Khan's three sisters are being detained because they acted as a trusted source for conveying his messages to the public after meeting him in jail.
During a media interaction in Lahore, Ahad Khan stated that the sisters would share information obtained from Imran Khan after their jail visits, but this channel has now been blocked. He expressed concern over the detention of the sisters, saying it was an attempt to suppress the truth.
In the context of the 28th Constitutional Amendment, Ahad Khan clarified that Imran Khan was not advocating for his release. Instead, he insisted that all cases against him should be tried fairly through the legal process. He warned against creating a narrative that Imran Khan had accepted the amendment for his freedom, stating that this was not the case.
Ahad Khan, who claimed no affiliation with PTI, emphasized the importance of public trust, which had already been affected. He viewed Imran Khan's sisters as a trusted medium for sharing information from within the jail, questioning why doubts were raised about them when public trust was declining.
