India's Normalcy Mantra in IIOJK Belies Ground Realities: APHC

ISLAMABAD (APP - UrduPoint) - The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has stated that India's claims of normalcy and peace in occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) are disconnected from the actual situation on the ground.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said in a statement from Srinagar that the Modi regime is intentionally projecting a false image of normalcy in IIOJK to mislead the international community and conceal the dire circumstances within the occupied territory.

The Hurriyat emphasized that daily raids, Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs), arrests, questioning, and surveillance by Indian forces and investigative agencies undermine New Delhi's narrative of normalcy. They noted that the massive deployment of Indian troops has turned IIOJK into a highly militarized zone where Kashmiri civilians live in constant fear and pressure.

Key Points:

  • India's "normalcy" claims in IIOJK are false.
  • Military repression, CASOs, arrests, and surveillance persist.
  • The region is heavily militarized, causing constant fear for residents.
