"Pakistan is not bad, nor are its people; I still do not understand why Pakistani Muslims are viewed negatively while Muslims in Dubai are considered good," Mika Singh said during a podcast conversation.

Indian singer Mika Singh has once again warmly praised Pakistan and its people.

According to reports, speaking on the ‘Baatein Dil Se with Navika Kumar’ podcast, Mika Singh discussed music, fans across the border, and Pakistan. He questioned why Indians have an issue with Muslims in Pakistan while considering Muslims in Dubai to be very good, saying he never understood this.

The singer stated that Pakistan is not a bad place and its people are not bad either. He shared his positive experiences during his 2019 visit to Pakistan, highlighting how Muslims there actively helped maintain and clean Sikh holy sites, particularly gurdwaras.

He also expressed his special connection with Pakistan due to the presence of holy sites like Nankana Sahib and Panja Sahib.

Regarding Pakistani artists visiting India and Indian artists performing in Pakistan, he suggested that the matter should not be given a political angle.

It’s worth noting that Mika Singh performed at a wedding in Karachi in August 2019, triggering a strong reaction in India amid tensions between the two countries. The ban imposed on him was later lifted after he apologized.
