Intermediate Topper Urges Students to Dream Big, Set Clear Goals for Future
Students should always dream big, set clear goals, and work consistently towards them as determination, consistency, and dedication can help young people overcome challenges and achieve their ambitions.
In an interview with APP here on Friday, Khanewal’s talented student Ali Bin Abdullah—who secured overall first position in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Multan Intermediate Annual Examinations 2026, scoring 1,163 marks—shared his plans to pursue medical education and become a doctor, aiming to serve the country and contribute to society through his profession.
However, Ali expressed concern about limited access to higher-education opportunities within Khanewal district. He stated that students often have to travel to cities like Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, or Lahore for higher education, placing a financial burden on their families and consuming valuable time.
Talking about his success, Ali attributed it to prayers, guidance, and encouragement from his parents and teachers, coupled with his own hard work, determination, and consistent effort. He recalled resolving to overcome a shortfall of five to seven marks in the first year and working harder in the second year to achieve his goal of securing a top position in the board.
Ali thanked Allah Almighty for fulfilling his wish and dedicated his achievement to his parents, teachers, principal, and siblings, acknowledging their love, prayers, guidance, and encouragement as instrumental in his success.
His academic triumph is part of a remarkable family achievement. Ali had previously secured third place among boys in the Multan Board in the 2024 examinations, while his brother Muhammad Bin Abdullah has now achieved third place among boys in the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2026.
Ali's father, Muhammad Abdullah—an English teacher—played a significant role in his academic journey through guidance, encouragement, and support. He also recognized the contributions of his teachers and emphasized the importance of strong cooperation among students, parents, and teachers for academic success.
