Irrigation System, Water Supply, Development Projects Reviewed

Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Upper, Irfan Ali Khan, has instructed relevant authorities to address public concerns regarding irrigation and water supply. This direction came during a meeting with the Executive Engineer (XEN) Irrigation, where they reviewed the district’s irrigation system, water supply, and ongoing and proposed development projects.
The meeting discussed:
- Issues within the irrigation sector
- Progress on current projects
- Proposed development schemes
Khan emphasized the administration's commitment to improving public facilities and strengthening the irrigation system. He directed for:
- Timely completion of ongoing development projects
- Maintaining quality standards
Earlier, Khan was briefed on the status of various water supply projects.
