IRSA Releases 337,600 Cusecs Water

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Tuesday released 337,600 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 361,000 cusecs.

According to IRSA’s data:

  • The water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam stood at 1550.00 feet, 148.00 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow were recorded as 233,200 cusecs and 232,600 cusecs, respectively.
  • The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1212.50 feet, 162.50 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. Inflow and outflow were 29,800 cusecs and 7,000 cusecs, respectively.
  • Water releases from Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur were 355,400, 318,600, 237,000, and 139,200 cusecs, respectively.
  • From River Kabul, 31,500 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 41,200 cusecs were released from River Chenab at Marala.
