IUB Researcher Completes International INTI IU Research Program
BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 27, 2026) Dr. Waqas Mahmood, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Training at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), successfully concluded an international research project supported by INTI International University’s INTI IU Research Seed Grant program in Malaysia.
Dr. Waqas Mahmood, serving as a Co-Researcher, collaborated with Prof. Dr. Sofian Omar Fauzees from INTI International University, Malaysia, who acted as the Principal Researcher. The project involved researchers from Malaysia, Pakistan, and Indonesia, highlighting IUB faculty’s growing international engagement in collaborative educational research.
The study explored the relationship between school climate, student motivation, and learning strategies by administering the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) within the context of Elite MARA Boarding Schools in Kelantan and Kedah, Malaysia.
