David Moyes has revealed he has never met or spoken to Everton owner Dan Friedkin since returning as manager in January 2025.
Friedkin's company, The Friedkin Group, owns the club, but has largely stayed away from day-to-day operations, with son-in-law Rishi Majithia and chief executive Angus Kinnear handling decisions.
Moyes told reporters before Everton's match against Manchester United on Sunday:
"My real contact is Angus. [...] Rishi is the next one and then the head of the Friedkin family in America."
The manager acknowledged the frustration among fans following a chaotic summer transfer window, marked by deals that fell through and limited signings. However, he expressed his commitment to the club, stating:
"I wouldn't have come back for anybody but Everton."
Moyes also referenced the support from Evertonians during recent controversial decisions, saying their reaction was a testament to their passion.
