Abu Dhabi, (Japanese company Marutake Industry, specialist in traditional armor manufacturing, displayed a historic Samurai armour at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026.)
The armour, dating back to the 16th century, exemplifies:

According to Yuichi Oiyama, Business Development Manager at Marutake Industry, "the armour carries deep cultural and symbolic value, crafted exclusively for kings, commanders, and generals."
Oiyama noted that Samurai armour represents:

- Status
and is considered a prized family heritage item.
The armour's ornate details include:
- Gold leafing symbolizing luxury and high status.
- Three elements representing falcon wings (power and authority) and the number three (good luck in Japanese culture).
- Dragon motif signifying good fortune, with wings depicting ambition and ascension.
Crafted entirely by hand without machinery, this handcrafted suit weighs over 20 kilograms, incorporating:
- Iron plates
- Gold leaf
- Deer hide
- Silk threads
- Horsehair
- Wood
across its chest, sleeves, arms, and headgear.
The iron face mask, requiring a month of artisanal work using silk threads and horsehair, was worn by Samurai in battle to conceal their age strategically. The iron and metal helmet weighs approximately 10 kilograms, reflecting the precision and heavy craftsmanship of traditional Samurai armour.
