Jinnah House Attack Case: PTI Leaders’ Interim Bails Extended
UrduPoint (8th Sep, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of PTI MPA Ali Imtiaz Watriach and several other party leaders and workers in the Jinnah House attack case until September 22.
Proceedings
During the proceedings, the prosecution sought more time to produce the case record. The court directed the prosecution to submit the record at the next hearing and extended the interim bail of the accused until September 22.
Accused
The accused, including Ali Imtiaz Watriach, Owais Younis and other PTI leaders and workers, appeared before the court as their interim bail period expired. They have sought pre-arrest bail in connection with the Jinnah House attack case registered following the May 9 violence.
Other Petitions
PTI women workers Syeda Fatima and Rukhsana Naveed have also filed interim pre-arrest bail petitions in the case.
