Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Renames Its Campaigns
The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has intensified its efforts to secure the release of their incarcerated chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, through renewed campaigns. This announcement follows Malik's recent affidavit in a 36-year-old murder case involving a Kashmiri Pandit woman, Sarla Bhat.
In a statement, JKLF Chief Spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar condemned the "false implication" of Yasin Malik and expressed the party's commitment to pursuing these campaigns vigorously. The statement was released after an emergency meeting of central office-bearers.
Dar emphasized that the organization would continue its global efforts to garner international support for Malik's release, appealing to world leaders and human rights organizations to take notice of what they perceive as political persecution.
The JKLF leadership also expressed solidarity with Malik's family and reiterated their stance on the Kashmir dispute, advocating for a peaceful resolution through self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
