Karachi Administration Organizing A Five-day “Defence Of Pakistan Day”

Karachi Administration is organizing a five-day "Defence of Pakistan Day" Inter-Collegiate Painting Competition from September 7 to 11 to mark Defence of Pakistan Day. The painting exhibition has been titled "Defence of Pakistan."

The competitions will be held at various colleges across the city, culminating at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi on September 11, where a prize distribution ceremony will also be held.

According to a press release issued by the Office of the Commissioner Karachi, 128 colleges are participating. The competitions are being organized in collaboration with the education department, with Deputy Commissioners coordinating with the Education Department.

Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi stated that September 6 is a historic day. He explained that the "Defence of Pakistan" painting competition aims to commemorate and preserve the memories of the great sacrifices made by the Pakistan Armed Forces through outstanding works of art.
