Allama Raja Nasir Abbas met Mohsin Naqvi, Interior Minister, at the minister’s initiative and discussed the long march and matters related to Imran Khan.
Raja Nasir Abbas confirmed that the meeting covered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's long march and various issues concerning Imran Khan. He stated that he did not request the meeting but attended it at the minister’s invitation.
According to a senior federal minister cited by Raja Nasir Abbas, Pakistan's system has collapsed, and its economic and judicial systems are entirely destroyed. He criticised the government for using aircraft with public funds.
He also highlighted the incident at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences as another sign of decline in the country. Abbas noted that Eman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha were arrested despite court orders for their release, adding that Eman Mazari deserves recognition for her courage.
"You are taking a new step towards creating provinces, but no one trusts you," said Raja Nasir Abbas.
During the press conference, Muhammad Zubair, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aain (opposition alliance) and former Sindh governor, claimed that powerful ministers asserted that even after ten years in power, conditions wouldn't improve. He emphasised the destruction of Pakistan's middle class, attributing it to the incumbent government.
