Khuli Kachehri Held In Chelhar To Address Public Complaints
HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar, Abdul Haleem Jagirani, Additional Deputy Commissioner-II and Assistant Commissioner, Mithi Umair Ashraf held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) in Chelhar to hear and resolve public complaints at their doorstep.
According to a handout issued on Thursday, Assistant Commissioner Mithi Umair Ashraf stated that the open court was organized to ensure good governance and provide relief to the people. He explained that this initiative would save residents from unnecessary visits to Mithi, facilitating on-the-spot resolution of their complaints and problems.
He further noted that revenue-related issues would be promptly addressed, while complaints related to other departments would be referred to the relevant authorities for necessary action.
Residents submitted written complaints regarding:
- Cultivation on grazing lands
- Encroachments on government land
- Sanitation in the town
- Power load-shedding
- Drug use
- Provision of drinking water
- Other issues
The Assistant Commissioner issued essential directives to the concerned officers for the resolution of these problems. A significant number of officers and residents attended the event.
