Kohat Administration Removes Roadside Encroachments to Improve Traffic Flow

Kohat Administration initiates a large-scale anti-encroachment operation in Kohat, led by Assistant Commissioner Naveed Ahmed, to reclaim public spaces and improve traffic management.

The campaign, directed by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz Wazir, focuses on removing temporary and permanent encroachments along roads and public thoroughfares. Teams from the district administration, in collaboration with relevant departments, are working to restore public spaces, enhance civic amenities, and ensure safer movement for commuters and pedestrians.

The administration urges citizens, traders, and shopkeepers to respect public property and cooperate with the authorities in maintaining a disciplined urban environment. The operation aims to protect public interest and ensure adherence to regulations without any discrimination.
