KP Assembly Staff Complete 14-day Capacity-building Programme
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 10, 2026) Officers and officials of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Secretariat have completed a 14-day mandatory capacity-building programme aimed at enhancing their professional skills and efficiency.
The training was organised by the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) in collaboration with the KP Assembly Secretariat, with participation from staff across different cadres.
The concluding ceremony was attended by:
- Speaker KP Assembly, Babar Saleem Swati
- Provincial Minister, Nazir Abbasi
- Chief Whip, Akbar Ayub Khan
- Chief Secretary, Shahab Ali Shah
- Additional Chief Secretary, Abid Majeed
- Secretary KP Assembly, Syed Waqar Shah
- Members of the provincial assembly.
Certificates were distributed among the participants who successfully completed the training.
Speaking at the ceremony, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati highlighted the importance of continuous professional development for the Assembly Secretariat staff, ensuring efficient and quality service delivery. He expressed that such training initiatives would continue to further strengthen the professionals’ capacity and enable them to perform their duties more effectively.
