KP Govt, UNICEF Pledge Stronger Partnership for Development
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 18, 2026) – A meeting between the Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and a UNICEF team led by Country Director Ms. Pernille Ironside was held on Tuesday, chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Department Zaib Islam.
The meeting discussed various areas of collaboration and pipeline initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable development in the province. The Additional Chief Secretary appreciated UNICEF’s continued support to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to further strengthening the partnership. Both sides also agreed to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest and advance collaborative initiatives for the development and welfare of the people of the province.
