Kuwait, Canada To Promote Defence Cooperation
Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber AlAhmad Al-Sabah and his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence and the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) in the field of defence and security.

KUWAIT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 18th Sep, 2026) Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement, carried by KUNA, outlining the events following Sheikh Jarrah's visit to Ottawa on Thursday.
During their meeting, both ministers:
- Reviewed the progress of friendly relations in all areas.
- Agreed to open new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation.
- Exchanged views on several regional issues, notably the situation in the Gulf region and efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote security and stability.
