Lahore Illuminated To Celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2026) The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has completed elaborate lighting and decoration arrangements across the city to mark the arrival of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The arrangements have been made on the special directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, with major roads, intersections, and central locations illuminated and decorated with colourful electric lights.
Liberty Chowk, Main Boulevard Gulberg, Ferozepur Road, Mall Road, Mughalpura, and Dharampura have been adorned with decorative lighting, while beautiful illuminated monuments have been installed at prominent roads and intersections.
Special messages in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) are also being displayed on SMDs and LED screens at various locations across the city.
PHA Lahore’s horticulture agency workers worked day and night to complete the decoration and illumination of the city ahead of the religious occasion. The beautifully illuminated roads and prominent locations have become a major attraction for citizens, presenting a festive and spiritual atmosphere across Lahore.
PHA Director General Ahmed Usman Javed said the electric decorations across the city, carried out on the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, reflected the joy and devotion associated with the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
