M42 Makes ADIHEX Debut, Spotlighting Environmental Intelligence

Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX)

M42, a global health leader leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), technology, and genomics, is participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) for the first time. The event takes place from September 4th to 6th, 2026, at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.

At ADIHEX, M42 is highlighting its growing work in environmental intelligence and how advanced science, AI, and data can provide insights to support public health, environmental resilience, and community well-being.

RASID: An AI-Powered Platform for City Health

At the heart of M42's participation is RASID, an AI-driven platform that analyzes wastewater samples to offer hyper-local and predictive city health intelligence. Developed in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC), this platform is designed to assist authorities in detecting emerging public health risks through:

  • Wastewater analysis across 100 testing sites in Abu Dhabi
  • Predictive analytics
  • AI-supported insights for data-driven decision-making

Eng. Abdulla Hassan Al Muaini, Executive Director - Central Testing Laboratory, expressed his enthusiasm:

"Strengthening Abu Dhabi’s quality infrastructure involves continually evolving how we understand and respond to factors shaping community well-being and quality of life. Through our collaboration with M42 on RASID, we bring together complementary expertise in environmental monitoring, science, and technology. ADIHEX provides a platform to demonstrate the value of this collaborative approach."

RASID's Impact

Since its launch in 2022, the RASID Laboratory has analyzed over 75,000 wastewater samples across the UAE, covering more than 400 chemical and biological analytes. This extensive dataset offers a comprehensive view of public health, environmental quality, and community trends.

Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group Chief Executive Officer at M42, shared his perspective:

"Our environment tells us much about the health and well-being of our communities. By interpreting these signals, we can generate actionable intelligence to support earlier, more informed decision-making. At ADIHEX, we demonstrate how M42’s full intelligence infrastructure and capabilities can advance human, animal, and environmental health."

Unlike traditional environmental monitoring, RASID enables continuous, population-level monitoring. Its AI models analyze large wastewater datasets to generate an AI-based risk score for all potential threats, predict risks, and aid in source identification. This helps optimize resource allocation and response efforts.
