Man Dies In Road Accident, Driver Held
UrduPoint News (September 24, 2026) - A man lost his life after being struck by a speeding vehicle in the jurisdiction of R.A. Bazaar Police Station, as per police reports.
According to a police spokesperson, the victim was hit due to allegedly negligent driving, sustaining critical injuries in the process. He later succumbed to his wounds while receiving treatment. The driver is said to have fled the scene along with the vehicle involved.
R.A. Bazaar Police initiated an investigation and successfully traced the suspect using technical investigation methods and human intelligence sources. The suspected vehicle was also recovered. Superintendent of Police, Potohar, Chaudhry Asar Ali confirmed that charges would be filed against the driver in court, backed by substantial evidence.
