Man Drowns in Phuleli Canal
Hyderabad, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Aug, 2026)
As blatant violations of the government’s ban against swimming continue unstoppably, a 31-year-old man drowned while bathing in the Phuleli canal in the Tando Yousf area here on Monday.
An official of Rescue 1122 reported that their team searched for Zameer Ali Jamali’s body for hours but could not locate it due to strong currents in the canal. They plan to resume the search on Tuesday.
According to the spokesman, several people witnessed Jamali enter the canal and disappear suddenly.
