Man Killed, Woman Injured in Mardan Honour-related Shooting
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Sep, 2026) A man was killed and a woman seriously injured in a honour-related shooting incident near Hoti Police Station in Nadarabad area of Mardan on Sunday.
According to police, a man identified as Jabir, the woman’s husband, allegedly opened fire after seeing his wife with another man. As a result, the man, Sher Aman was killed, while the woman sustained serious injuries.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, while Rescue 1122 personnel provided initial medical treatment to the injured woman before transferring her to Mardan Medical Complex for further treatment.
Police said a case has been registered on the complaint of the injured woman. Further investigation is underway to determine circumstances surrounding the incident.
