MANSEHRA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 23, 2026) The E-Registry System for property registration has been formally launched in Mansehra as part of efforts to modernize the revenue system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through digital technology.
Deputy Commissioner Mansehra Khalid Iqbal inaugurated the system on September 23.
The digital system will:
- Provide citizens with a fast, transparent, secure and traceable mechanism for property registration.
- Facilitate landowners, buyers, sellers and other stakeholders.
- Reduce paperwork and minimize unnecessary visits to government offices.
- Strengthen the security of property registration records.
- Help protect ownership rights.
- Reduce the chances of forgery, alteration, duplication and double registration.
Official statements emphasized that the inclusion of Mansehra in the E-Registry System is a significant step towards digitizing the revenue system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These reforms are being led by Zahir Shah, Senior Member of the Revenue Board in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
