MENA Golf Tour Opens Entries for 2026/27 Qualifying Schools
DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 3rd Sep, 2026) Entries are now open for the three 2026/27 MENA Golf Tour Qualifying Schools, with the Tour also confirming that the new season will kick off in Egypt at the end of November.
For the first time, three Qualifying Schools will be held—two in the UK and one in the United States, in response to increased demand from players aiming to secure MENA Golf Tour status. The top 10 performers at each Qualifying School will gain exempt status for the upcoming season. Additionally, players finishing between 11th and 20th will earn playing opportunities through the Tour's exemption categories.
The season will commence with three tournaments in Egypt, starting on November 28th, followed by events on December 3rd and 8th. The remainder of the 2026/27 schedule will be unveiled in the coming weeks, guaranteeing a minimum of 12 tournaments and at least $1.2 million in prize money across the season. Every Tour event will feature a minimum $100,000 prize fund, with some tournaments offering larger purses.
Qualifying Schools Dates:
- First Qualifying School: Dalmahoy in Edinburgh, October 1st-2nd
- US Event: Slammer & Squire in Florida, October 13th-15th

As stated by Keith Waters, Chairman and Commissioner of the MENA Golf Tour:
"The interest from players over the summer has been remarkable, and organizing three Qualifying Schools—including our inaugural event in the United States—is a direct response to this demand. For players planning their season, key details are now available. The season begins in Egypt in November, there will be a minimum of 12 tournaments, and entry fees and membership remain unchanged. To guarantee your place in every tournament next season, enter one of the Qualifying Schools."
