Modern Central Library Inaugurated At Aror University To Boost Research, Learning
UrduPoint (27 August, 2026) – SUKKUR: Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahu, along with Secretary Universities, Ghulam Abbas Baloch, inaugurated a state-of-the-art central library at the Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Universities Muhammad Ismail Rahu stated that the library aims to provide students with a modern educational, research, and creative environment. According to a release, the library boasts:
- Over 5,000 books
- A Research and Development Center
- Discussion rooms
- SAP Koha Library Management System
- RFID security
- Self check-in/out facility
- Digital scanning
- High-speed Wi-Fi
- Access to millions of e-resources
The library also includes a digital library with iPads and computers, modern reading halls accommodating 400 students, and a fully air-conditioned environment with 24-hour CCTV surveillance.
Rahu emphasized that this modern library will offer a safe, technology-enabled, and high-quality academic and research environment for students and researchers alike.
