Modern Digital Program Inaugurated at Government Commerce College Dera
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) – Assistant Commissioner Ashfaq Alam formally inaugurated a digital program to equip the youth with modern digital professional skills.
"NexGen & Smart Skills Youth Hub" Launched
The program, titled "NexGen & Smart Skills Youth Hub", was launched at Government Commerce College. It has been established under the special patronage of the Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the administration, the hub is designed to:
- Provide young people with opportunities to develop market-oriented skills.
- Enhance their access to employment and livelihood opportunities.
Speaking at the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Ashfaq Alam highlighted the importance of providing youth with practical and modern skills aligned with the demands of a rapidly changing job market. He stated:
"The establishment of the hub reflects the district administration’s commitment to empowering young people, enhancing their professional capabilities, and preparing them for future challenges and opportunities."
He expressed hope that this initiative would contribute to creating a skilled and empowered youth workforce in the district.
