Sources revealed that repeated requests for cooperation in the investigation have been made to Mohammad Rizwan, but his team has not received a positive response.

NCCIA (National Cricket Control Authority) is conducting an ongoing probe into national cricket team players Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq. Agency sources claim that the investigation is facing delays due to Rizwan’s alleged non-cooperation.

According to Daily Jang, NCCIA sources stated that they have repeatedly contacted Mohammad Rizwan and requested his cooperation, but despite their efforts, he has not responded. Sometimes, communication was unsuccessful, while at other times, Rizwan claimed he needed to consult with his lawyer. He is scheduled to be contacted again on Monday to seek his cooperation. If he remains non-responsive, authorities may issue him a notice and take further legal action.

The agency expresses a desire for Mohammad Rizwan's cooperation to expedite the investigation and reach a logical conclusion. They are adhering to court directives while proceeding cautiously.

Sources explained that a forensic analysis of Rizwan’s mobile phone is necessary, requiring his physical presence during the process. While there's an alternative method, it may result in data loss, which wouldn't be beneficial.

During questioning, Rizwan provided answers that did not fully satisfy the investigation team. A forensic analysis of his device is crucial to address certain doubts and suspicions.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to probe the matter, and they have already begun forensic analysis of Imam-ul-Haq’s mobile phone. Recommendations will be drafted upon completion of the investigation and analysis.

NCCIA sources clarified that the investigation is in its initial stages and no definitive conclusions have been reached against any cricketer. The situation will become clearer post-forensic analysis.

The agency emphasized that all actions are taken within the framework of the law, without conflict with the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Code of Conduct. No communication has been established with the ICC regarding this case.
