Monitoring of Making Water Filtration Plant Operational Directed

BAHAWALPUR (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2026) Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia visited a water filtration plant in Hasilpur Tehsil to inspect the quality of drinking water and the plant's filtration system.
According to an official press release, during the visit:
- Commissioner Kathia directed authorities to ensure operational efficiency of water filtration plants and effective implementation of the clean drinking water program.
- He emphasized on maintaining high water quality standards, uninterrupted production, and timely delivery of clean water to citizens.
- He instructed officials to regularly monitor the performance and efficiency of all water filtration plants, replace filters according to schedule, and ensure regular inspections of all systems.
- The Commissioner ordered improvements in cleanliness and sanitation within and around the plant, with daily monitoring of filtration quality and hygiene standards.
Commissioner Kathia reiterated that providing clean drinking water is a top priority for the Punjab government and promised stern action against any negligence regarding operation, cleanliness, or water quality of the plants.
