Pakistani cricketer Muaz Sadaqat made history by becoming the youngest player to score a century in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Against Barbados Tridents, he achieved this feat off just 49 balls, hitting eight sixes and nine fours.
This record surpasses the previous marks set by:
- Shimron Hetmyer (2018) at 21 years, 235 days
- Glenn Phillips (2018) at 21 years, 280 days
- Saim Ayub (2026) at 24 years, 95 days
- Brandon King (2019) at 24 years, 294 days
Barbados Tridents set Jamaica Kingsmen a target of 145 runs, but they emerged victorious by nine wickets.
