Murree Launches Home-Based Primary Healthcare Programme
Murree has initiated a groundbreaking "Healthcare at Your Doorstep" program, aligning with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision of delivering healthcare directly to citizens. The program was formally inaugurated at Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Murree by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters/Enforcement) Rashid Naimat and CEO Health Dr Azhar Mehmood Abbasi.
Under this initiative, residents will benefit from comprehensive primary medical services at home, encompassing:
- Routine vaccinations
- Maternal and antenatal care
- Family planning services
- Child growth monitoring
- Geriatric healthcare
- Preventive medical guidance
Health officials emphasize the program's focus on women, children, and family health, aiming to build a healthier generation through proactive support.
The launching ceremony was attended by notable figures including THQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Mian Owais Alam, Deputy District Officer Health Dr. Maryam Ali Abbasi, Tehsil Health Inspector Murree Rana Karamat Ali, and other senior health department officials.
