Nahyan Bin Mubarak Attends Chinese Embassy Reception Marking 77th National Day and 42 Years of UAE Ties

ABU DHABI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 17th Sep, 2026) Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Saeed Al Hajeri, Minister of State, attended a reception hosted by Zeng Jixin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 42nd anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and the UAE.
The reception, held at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, was attended by a range of high-ranking officials, diplomats from Arab and foreign missions accredited to the UAE, business leaders, representatives of Chinese institutions and companies operating in the country, members of the Chinese community, as well as Chinese teachers and students.
In his address, the Chinese Ambassador highlighted the strong bilateral relations between China and the UAE. He also discussed President Xi Jinping’s four-point proposal for peace and stability in the Middle East.
The event showcased displays blending modern technology with traditional Chinese culture, featuring:
- Flying cars
- Autonomous vehicles
- New-energy vehicles
- Robots
Additionally, Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was on display, and the China National Peking Opera Company performed selected classics of Peking Opera.
