Nasdaq Dubai Welcomes New Development Bank’s US$1.75 Billion Bond Listing

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 10th Sep, 2026) Nasdaq Dubai has welcomed the listing of a US$1.75 billion, 3-year benchmark bond issued by the New Development Bank (NDB). This brings NDB’s total listed value on the exchange to US$3.75 billion under its US$50 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme.
This bond issuance carries a coupon of 4.375% and matures in 2029. It is part of NDB’s EMTN Programme, offering a flexible framework for debt instrument issuance aligned with its development mandate.
The bond attracted substantial investor demand, with 65% coming from Asia Pacific, 32% from EMEA, and 3% from the Americas, resulting in a final order book exceeding US$3.2 billion. The diverse investor base included central banks and official institutions, banks, fund managers, and corporations.
This listing highlights NDB’s strategy to diversify funding sources while expanding its presence in key global financial centers.

This latest listing enhances Nasdaq Dubai’s debt capital markets platform, which accommodates sovereigns, financial institutions, corporates, and multilateral issuers. Currently, Nasdaq Dubai lists US$143.9 billion in outstanding debt securities.
